I love serving the St. Pius School family because our community is deeply committed to nurturing the whole child—mind, heart, character, and spirit. With more than 30 years in Catholic education—as a college professor, school founder, educational leader, and parent—I have witnessed how transformative the elementary years can be. These are the years when children build confidence, curiosity, and character, discover the joy of learning, and develop habits that lead to lifelong excellence. Catholic schools uniquely support this growth by partnering closely with families and grounding education in faith, compassion, and the belief that every child is gifted and called by God to make a meaningful contribution.

My hope is that every student cultivates strong academic skills along with confidence, joy, and perseverance. This year, our school-wide Friendzy social-emotional learning program equips students with the tools to navigate life’s challenges with courage, empathy, and integrity, helping them recognize their gifts, overcome obstacles, and thrive. It is a privilege to guide students as they grow in wisdom, faith, and resilient hope for the future.
